Problem:  Too much success.

  • A long-standing customer of our component supply business had the enviable problem of too much success.
  • Their demand for a new product was four times more than projections. They had no capacity to increase production without jeopardising their other products.

Solution:

  • We took on the production and distribution of their product in Australia with very little lead time. And when the overseas demand grew to make it feasible we managed their transition to manufacturing in Asia using known, proven suppliers and contract manufacturers.
